The St. Francis Center for Retreat and Renewal in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania has been the site of our yearly spring braid in since 2013. The double-occupancy rooms are comfortable and the building has good rooms for classes and our speakers. Located on over 50 acres, the grounds have wide open spaces for taking walks along the gentle Monocacy Creek.
The 27 rooms on the first two floors and the 10 rooms on the third floor have two single beds for double occupancy. Bathrooms are down the hall. The main room is on the ground floor, where we have meals and shop for wool and socialize with braiders while working. Classrooms are on the ground and first floors.
